Sparta-Guard – polyaspartic floor coating

Sparta-Guard Polyaspartic is the new standard in resin floor coatings.

Sparta-Guard is a new generation Polyaspartic Aliphatic Polyurea floor coating, available clear or coloured and in different formulations to meet the application requirements.

We have 4 formulations of Sparta-Flex, the resins used in Sparta-Guard systems that differ in % of solids,application and finish characteristics.

All our Polyaspartic coatings are UV stable and will not discolour with UV exposure from direct sunlight or artificial light. They are approx 3-5 times more abrasion resistant than epoxy, meaning they last much longer, show less marking, have higher chemical and heat resistance (can be steam cleaned) and maintain higher gloss.

 

Sparta-Flex SB is a 72% solids, solvent borne gloss finish base and top coat that does not require a separate primer and is easy to apply.  Ready for re-coat in 1-2 hours, light use after 4-6 hours and full use after only 24 hours.

Sparta-Flex XPL is a 92% solids formulation with significantly less solvent content, low VOC (less than 50) and complied with the LEEDS program (similar to NZ’s Green Building Program). Re-coat in 1-1.5 hours, light use after 4-6 hours and full use in 24 hours.  Extremely high chemical and abrasion resistance.

Sparta-Flex PURE is a 100% solids polyaspartic formulation with no solvent and very low odor.  Can be used in occupied areas with no health or safety concerns, complies with all “Green” requirements. Coloured mixes easily block underlying colours and provide heavy coverage (thicker than standard coatings).  Faster recoat and return to use times.

Resin floor coatingHP Spartacote’s® solid-color polyaspartic flooring system, Sparta-Guard™, was developed to provide a beautiful solid-color concrete flooring solution with minimal maintenance and rapid return to service. This 3-coat polyaspartic system combines 2 pigmented coats with a clear top-coat and optional traction additive.

Incorporating HP Spartacote’s® patented DualCure® technology provides for tremendous chemical resistance along with fantastic adhesion to concrete. Popular where cleanliness is a must, Sparta-Guard™ is completely resistance to an array of common and industrial chemicals including oil, grease, brake fluid, Skydrol and more.
