Here are some photos of the transformation we can make to concrete floors and concrete surfaces with our Cretecova concrete resurfacing system.
St Johns – Auckland Concrete resurfacing around family home
The concrete had heavily exposed aggregate finish due to weathering (where it was covered it was a lot smoother).
First step was to waterblast the area to remove all the dirt, moss and algae from the surface.
Then we repaired about 80 M of cracks with our Fast Fix crack repair product.
We then primed the surface and applied a heavy skim to bury the exposed aggregate.
Then we diamond ground the surface to remove the tips of the aggregate that was still rough.
A final layer of Cretecova was applied to give the finished surface. This client did not want a tile pattern, so we just followed the joins in the concrete. The surface was also very minimal texture and a light colour wash.
Colours – Laid in Pavlova, lightly washed with Sandstone.
The surface was then coated with 2 coats of solvent acrylic sealer, with a matt finish and antislip finish.
